    The end of my Touring?

well I went to pick up a friend from the airport yesterday and whilst driving along the highway on the way home there were alot of motorcyclists stopped turning right (a few of them had turned and the rest were waiting for on coming traffic) there was also a 4wd in a right turn lane that was blocking the vision of all the right turning bikes, anyway one of them decided to do a right hand turn in front of me, thank christ I had washed off some speed and was now doing around 80k's rather than 100 (in a 100 zone) but still no time to avoid the enivatable, hit (her) whilst hard braking and pulling to the left.. thank everything that after everything she was going to be okay, but possibly the worst thing I have ever had to deal with on the road. The touring is somewhere in Rockhampton after being towed. Didnt really take much notice of the damage due to the shock of the whole thing, and more worried about the motorcylist. I think I may have some chassis 'twist' no windscreen no quarter panel and no drivers door. But the girl was okay at the scene, she was unconscious for a while, but was stabilised and apparently in rather 'good' condition when she left for the hospital. Must be thankful also that it just so happened that a doctor was following me when it happened and a surgeon was travelling in the other direction along with two nurses, so luckily there were people there that knew what they were doing....
Anyway, that was my Saturday, drive safely people.

That sucks some serious ass. When I was younger and got hit by a car, my personal doctor was about thirty seconds away, as well as his wife who was a surgeon. I guess we got lucky. As for the car, well, that's too bad. At least it can always be replaced or fixed to be as good as new.

Have you made a purchase from www.blunttech.com recently?
