    Good Idea?

I have a 87 325is with 247xxx miles on it. It is burning oil at about a quart every 2 weeks. I was originally going to buy a m20b25 and build it, then swap it into my car when I was finished. The opportunity has arisen to buy a stroked m20 (2722cc) with 30k on it for $700 obo. I only have $850 to spend atm. Should I go with a stroked m20, or build a stock m20 up (cam, headers, etc) at some point in the future?

Buy the stroker, if you build a new engine correctly (ie machine shop) then you're gonna be more around 1200 by the end of it. The stroker will be more fun!
