    Anybody paraglide?

anyways this is what i was doing two hours before i totaled my '85 318i one hiway 1 three months ago. just curious if anyone else enjoys flying. oh sorry for the big image size. :)

....this first pic is taken while i was flying above stinson beach, ca.
the next pic is my takeoff. i took off on the top of mnt. tam wich is on the north side of the golden gate bridge. by the way i think that this is one of the best parts of highway one. very fun road.

.....if anyone else fly's here let me know because my freinds that i usaully fly with are in france for a year and i hate flying alone. thanks.

By tugging? It looks like a blast.

On a side note, I was suprised by how dull parasailing was. It was really fun, but not much of an adrenaline rush like I thought it would be.

I did the 1000 foot parasailing in Oahu. It was retarded, not exhilirating at all unless you are afraid of heights or are just sheltered. I'd rather skydive.
I retired my E30 for now...

Yep haha. They just talked their shit about how they are white trash and are still unmarried and pathetic, hanging out at college parties. One of the dudes had some gnarly looking fungus on his toenails. I remember it was quite expensive, too. My Dad bought us all some tickets.
They thought it was hilarious to drop us into the water. I really wish they would have let one of us know they were going to fuck around with us because my girlfriend was terrified. She thought she saw a shark and we started dropping really fast. I thought it was just the boat turning or something but soon enough we were both dunked under and my girlfriend was hyperventilating. A pleasant experience

                THATS THE GUYS
They at least asked us if we wanted to be dipped. That's funny though :D

Anyway, I didn't mean to hijack the thread.

ya if you ever want to insult a paraglider just call him a parasailer. in a paraglider you have full control. and ya you turn by pulling on a brake which is on either side (left and right). its so fun and its safe. on that particular flight i was up catching thermals for about one hour and fifteen minutes. its so easy. it really is a blast. you should try it if your thinking about it.

If you're a beginner, do you fly with someone or just have a lot of ground instructions?

your required to have 8 hours of ground school but i never did ground school. you just need to understand how the glider works and you need lots of experience. that flight i did in the pics was only like my 3rd flight. its really easy.
