Anyone able to get a hold of Slyder??

His name is Jason, AKA: "Slyder," former owner of C3motorsports and seller of a custom-made coilover kit for our cars.

I purchased a poorly engineered set from him back in 2008. It included Corrado inserts that were not able to handle the stiff spring rates he recommended (450/750) and now my shocks are completely shot. I've been attempting to get in touch with him regarding a warranty for several months now. He responded once with promises of sending me warranty replacements w/ the correct inserts back in August. Since then he's ignored my emails/PMs until just recently when he said he's closed his business and can no longer process the warranty.

Now he is once again ignoring my messages, so I'm wondering if anyone can help me contact him. As for many of us, times are tough economically, and for the price this suspension should have lasted much longer. I don't understand why he cannot live up to his obligations/promises.

I hate to say it but this sounds like a situation where it is your loss.
Typical warranties (i dont know what his stated specifically) last about a year and the time is close to up if not already over. Also if he states that his business is closed, warranties on products from that company are also done.
In addition, it is on you in regard of having purchased a shotty product. If you didnt catch the problem with it early, I'm sorry for your loss.

The best thing that I could see you doing now, to fix your blown shocks is to call Koni (I'm assuming they are Koni) and have them rebuild your shocks.
Sorry if I'm coming off as a complete dick but it sounds like you'll get nothing from this guy. Youre gonna have to suck it up. I have had to on a number of occations! Live and learn.

You're not coming off as a dick...I appreciate your insight. Koni has a killer guarantee on their products. The main issue I'm having is getting an invoice from Jason that has the shocks itemized. I also need the part numbers for the replacement shocks that he used in later versions of the kit. With all this stuff in order, I can deal with Koni personally, but without it I'm screwed. It's really not that much to ask of him. And if Koni denies me, they deny me...and that's that - it's worth a try at the very least.

What bothers me is that Jason personally gave me a guarantee and a timeframe to get me the correct shocks for this kit. I'd rather he have just told me initially I was on my own than to dick me around like this.

Jason - if you're reading this, please, spend 10 minutes of your day putting this stuff together for me.
