I wouldn't kick an E93 out of bed, but the E30 is the better looking car if you ask me.

And personally I like convertibles more for the atmosphere/lack of isolation than the wind in your hair, but that's just me. Kind of the same type of thing as opening the windows, you just feel more connected to the world, can hear the engine better, etc. Not really a huge fan of 60mph wind in your face.
