So my family is running into financial issues and I feel obligated o helping them out. I am thinking of abandoning my entire project to fund money to help them out and get them back on their feet. What do you all think? I have tons and tons of stuff that can and will be sold if times are rough enough.

Think about everything they have done for you. Last year I almost sold my cars because my family was having the same trouble but my dad got new case in and I didnt have to. You have to think about what is more importent, Your car or the people you love.

U can always buy your car back or parts back. But you cant buy back your love ones. I almost gave up my car to help my mom out when she was really really broke. But she was lucky and won some money

Start with trivial stuff, then work to the big things. Im sure if help them out, and they pull through, they might help you get back what you sacrificed. Even if they dont, you did the right thing.

If the shell is good, keep the shell. Keep rare and hard-to-source parts first. I'd definitely hang onto the MT2 and m3 5-lug.

I'd ditch the drivetrain stuff as that is easy to replace later on and will give you a bigger return.

I parted a car out once to help family and would do it again.
