    Hood mounted side view mirros

Has anyone seen this on an e30 or know where I can find a pair that would work?

Not sure if an E30 can pull that off, but it would be fun to look at.
I saw someone on this forum have it, his car was calypso I think.

Saw someone over on e30 tech running them. I think it was in a "post pics of your suspension" type thread.

yeah, would definitely look awkward and need the right body kit, stock wouldn't look right imo. Can anyone find those pics?

Looks good on the Z, however doesn't work on the e30.

Original Z fender mirrors show up on e-bay occasionally for several hundred dollars - very rare items. I've seen replica fender mirrors for less than $100.

search through e-bay for toyota or datsun mirrors and see what comes up

like others have posted, not sure an e30 can pull them off, though

I don't know how well that look would work with something as modern as an E30. But if you want them, you can still buy genuine Talbot & Co. "Berlin" mirrors from Aardvark International:

These are the real deal, not cheap copies. IIRC, Pegasus also carries them.

The nose is too short for them. They look 'OK' on the one but I think it is due to the fact it has primer fenders, so they kind of blend in. On a nicely painted car, they would stick out worse than anything.

I think they Could look right, but only on the right car. Wouldn't work on a stock car, IMO.
