PS2 HDTools CD.

I know some of you guys have harddrives in your PS2's.

I have numerious 20/40/60GB drives laying around that I could put in my PS2 but its become my understanding that I would need the HDTools disc to mount and format the drive.

I have a network adapter that it plugs into so I'm all set there.

I do not have a modchiped PS2 so I need a genuine disc.

If there is a way to make the PS2 see the HD without the disc, please speak up.

I think I have a beta version of it which formats the HDD it works the same if so you can have it.

why do u need to use a hd for it? if its to play games just buy hd loader. i have it and its sweet.

I just want a BIG memory card. I could care less about playing games off the HD.

playing games off it is cool, no loading times

If i rememebr correctly I couldnt always save soem games direcctly to the hard drive but you cancopy them from memory card to the hardrive I am 100% sure.
