    4dr 88 325i with rear triangle window broken on drivers side rear door ...how hard is this to replace...is it diy?????

                          yes, you should remove the door panel, maybe the door latch/handle, loosen the rear felt guide channel, pull out the felt channel, loosen the bolts that bolt the glass to the regulator, remove window glass, unbolt broken glass piece, remove the broken triangle piece, slice in new one. reinstall stuff in reverse order

                            thankyou....sounds like its gonna take a little more time than i planned...i better put that off till tomorrow

                              it is not a really hard deal, but plan on an hour the first time you do it. i do it all the time on cars in the bodyshop so i can do a door in around 20 min or so. it is pretty much the same proceedure on any 4 door car.
