    The IPOD Thread

So like many of you, I got an 20gb IPOD for Christmas. I'm pretty happy about it.

First thing I want to get is a protective cover. Then I will probably want a remote for it.

If you have any suggestions on what to get (accesorries) let me know. And if you can refer to a good place online to get it, it would be sweet. I was just at a local shop, and they were pretty low on all Ipod supplies. Thanks

Actually I rarely drive my car.

I was using my old MD player for the last few months, listening to the same songs that were on the 2 minidiscs that I had.. over and over again.

I might wire it up to my deck, but Im pretty happy listening to regular CDs and MP3 CDs, that I don't think that will be necessary.

The IPOD will be pretty much only for when I'm at school, on the bus etc.

my iPod uses a modified cd changer cable and plugs into the changer/aux input. if you have changer function on yr headunit, im pretty sure u can do the same.

I just got a Creative Zen Micro. Featurewise, I like it better than the ipod, since it comes with a removable battery, and comes with two batteries. Damn thing crashes 50% of the time I try sync it though... so its getting returned tomorrow morning.

nah, I only drive it to work, and to goto friends house etc. But I'm a FT student, and I bus to school.

nways, thanks for the replies. But I would still like to know what a good cover for the Ipod to buy would be (and also where to buy it).
Also I want to buy a remote for it, is the one that Apple make the only one, or are there any third party ones?

                              Thanks.
