I just finished getting the last of the 1:18th scale DTM and ITR E30 ///M3 and the Auto Art Sport Evos for my collection, so thats what Ive been frivelously spending my money on as of late. But this is definitely in my sights. Ive wanted this since a wee lad. I wish I was still living with the 'rents so the whole paycheck could be used for these useless purposes. hehe.

i used to be into nitro trucks, this looks like alot of fun too. what chassis' do you guys recommend? are you guys running electric or nitro? if your runnin nitro are you finding it reliable? i always remember having trouble with the nitro trucks and reliability.. these probably dont get abused as much tho

Nitro is pretty hard to tune i found. There are too many variables. The weather, all the needles, whether you are getting glow to the plug ect.... Its fun as hell though when you get everything working. The engines seem to just be very tempermental.

Just get an electric on road car with a 11 turn mod motor, a novak racing esc, a couple 3000 NiMH packs, and youll have just as much fun.

Yea thats what i found too, you had to retune the engine practically every day depending on humidity and temp.

yeah, and to add to it, as soon as you get it figured out, it needs a rebuild, and you have to learn how to retune it all over again, because its like a totally different engine.

nitro's are badass, but they are a PITA to keep running well. I had a tricked out CF/aluminum 54mph 4wd 2spd nitro car but it was too much hastle.
I only drome my M3 once around the living room. I bought a radio for it but the reciever didn't work so I had to borrow my roommates to make it run. I got a hopped up motor for it so its very fast and it drifts my hardwood floors like nobody's business on the stock rubber tires... it was quite fun!!

Eh, you guys are all pansy's. I can tune my nitro engine in about 10 minutes. I also just about daily tune the Weber that is on my car. Not to mention the carb on my goped. And people wonder why I carry a screw driver around in my pocket at all times...

I hate tuning carbs. Biggest fears = 1.) Tuning Carbs 2.) Wiring 3.)The boogie monster.

I didn't say I couldn't do it... I tune my 38mph goped and it runs awesome... just that its a pain in the ass and not really worth the mess that the nitro fuel makes on the chassis...

I was wondering if there is an easier way to apply the decals? I thought the decals were the type that you dipped in warm water and could slide into place. To my surprise they are stickers that require trimming. The stickers don't have a backing that allows you to slowly pull the backing off to leave a nice clean edge decal in the desired spot. I know some of you made your bodies street versions, but I would like to make the DTM replica, so the decals are sort of required.

I dont think you can buy that body seperately.
I had an M3 TT-01 and moved up to a TC4. The body needs new holes to run on the TC3 or 4. But still is awsome.

Here is my 1/10th Tamiya Sport Evo M3.

The chassis was completed back near the beginning of the year. The body I finished about 2 weeks ago.

Running the car with rubber tires got boring. So I cut some 2inch diameter PVC pipe and mounted it to the wheels. Now the car is a little drift monster.
