Nasty encounter with three potholes dragging the front end 'round on a dirt road, subsequent 45 degree "drift" ended with my right front wing into a tree. Frame is crumpled all the way up to the shock tower.

E28,E30,E34 are the only ways to go.

I'd take an e24 over e28. E28 m cars are nice but the rest are ugly.
