dog gone it !! found a nice cabro but.....

I hate when this happens. Ive put about $1500 into my current project --1986 325 eta, Im just lacking paint and window motors. I just ran across a 1990 318i convertible. It is missing the back window which is quite costly :o, but it does have leather, is a newer model and priced right....best of all its road ready. I just so happened to sell my 740I two weeks ago and am sick of driving my truck to work everyday!!! I neeed a car. 318 convert or finish the eta ??? Cant wait to share with the wifey.....WHAT, another car ?!? But hey, my kids will be driving in about 5 years. Time flies.

Keep your project, you'll appreciate it more in the end.

finish the project, window motors can easily be found at the yard, paint it merely a cosmetic issue. You'll be much happier in the end.

Two e30's are twice as good as one. Drive the cabrio and ENJOY that shit while you work on the eta.

Have you made a purchase from www.blunttech.com recently?

haha.. a cosmetic issue which costs about the same as the run of the mill e30 to correct

Get the vert as well and finish both if you have the funds.
                Share it with your kids/wife.

Tell the wife she can drive the vert (you will be lying).

Then enjoy that while you take your time on the eta.

No such thing as a 1990 318i Convertible. Those didn't come till the plastic bumpered verts.

I say focus on the 86 but that is cause I know my personality. I started with 1 2002 which turned into having 3 2002's and 3 E30's because they came up cheap and didn't need much. All the cars purchased previously go to the back burner as soon as the "new" one arrives. I've since got it back down to 1 2002 and 1 E30 and it is nice, my wife likes it better to.

I plan on picking up a second E30 and building an M20 when money allows.

Then comes the S4 biturbo etc, but that's a different story. :) Bottom line, there's nothing wrong with having two cars.

Finish the first project before you start another one.
