    25% off all Lamin-x from 11/27 - 12/31

Starting Friday, Lamin-x is having a sale until Dec 31 for their facebook fans. 25% off everything (except bulk rolls) and free shipping. Here is their message.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! We just wanted to take a moment and give a true Thank You to all of our fans and customers that have supported our little business. It has been 7 years since starting, and we have could not have done it without all of your support. So thank you, thank you, thank you all very much.

The best way we can give back to you is a Facebook Fan 25% discount. From Black Friday until Dec 31 almost everything in the store is going to be already discounted. But our Fans can use coupon code " F0925 " when checking out. You will receive a 25% discount plus free ground shipping! This is good on everything but our bulk rolls. So if you want to hook yourself up, or give a gift or a friend or family for the Holidays; now is a great time to do it.

Thanks again and everyone have a great Thanksgiving!

    Chris Wadle
The way I see it, Lamin-x is one of those companies who has bothered to produce some useful, high-quality E30 accessories at fair prices and with great customer service, so we should continue to support them. They only have 238 fans on facebook at the time I write this so this discount wasn't intended to reach that many, but I know a lot of you guys want Lamin-x but are too cheap to buy some. Here is your chance.

Obviously there is no way for them to check if you are a fan of theirs if you use the coupon (unless they look at their fan list to check), but why not become a fan anyway if you do plan on using it?

I have been thinking of doing this for my headlights, it is reported to work well to smooth some of the small pitting and make them shiny again. I have had some questions as to the durability. Any of you guys had this stuff on for a year or more? How does it hold up?

    Thanks for the info OP.

It's great stuff. High quality and holds up extremely well. I just checked the foglight coverings I got from them to see how they were holding up after about 5000 highway miles and daily driving (got them in June). They still look like I just put them on.

I'd like to reiterate the "become a fan first" thing, too. There's no reason to just take advantage of the coupon code. I let chris know that I posted on a forum about it and he said that was fine as long as you guys became fans first. Not much to ask :)

I was one of the many people that got screwed over a while ago by some guy selling Lamin-X, and the company was kind enough to offer everyone that got shafted a discount.

Very stand up company that offers a great product. I will be buying from them soon.

Has anyone ran the smoked Lamin-x on their headlights? I'm wondering if it would look decent at all or just look like shit. Any input on how the smoked Lamin-x looks?

I'll probably be picking up a set of Lamin-x for my headlights and fogs now. Thinking of yellow fog covers and smoked headlights.

I've seen the smoked before, but they were with HIDs. Smoked lamin-x may decrease light output slightly if i had to guess. It looks great, though.

if you want to know what yellow fogs look like, look at my most recent thread(s) in member rides.

Hmm...the smoked lens covers may work perfect then. I have a 6000k 55W HID kit and its bright as hell. Everytime I drive at night the car in front of me will always readjust their rearview mirror cuz my lights are so bright :)

I Know what the yellow lenses look like though. Looks like I'll opt for the smoked headlights with yellow fogs :D

The smoked lamin-x will definitely decrease your light output.
I've spoken to Aron Andrew up in Iceland, I'm sure many of you know who he is.. and he told me he only uses his car for half the year (the half where it's always daylight), so he doesn't really know what driving at night is like with them, but he does know it significantly diminishes his light output.

For anyone running these - it looks like for ellipsoids you would use the euro spec?
