Part number for low beam relay?

What is the part number for a low beam headlight relay? (K4 location)

Late model e30. Build date 7/90 with OE sealed beam headlights. Sealed beams are still installed. Wiring to headlights has not been molested.

    a) I’ve searched

    b) I don’t know where the original relay went. The low beams worked before I lost track of the original relay.

    I installed a new 4-pin SPST to see what would happen. (same relay used for K1, K2, K5, K6, K7, & K8 locations)

    c) all lights work with exception of low beams. Low beam headlights do come on when the highs are on. The low beams do not come on in low beam setting. The fog lights will come on when the highs are on. All fuses good.

According to 91 318is-specific-ETM, I’m looking for what appears to be a SPDT relay that includes an “87b” pin. If I am reading the schematic correctly – it is this “87b” pin that powers the low beams.

I found a Bosch relay carried by bma that includes the 87b pin - but it has a "middle" prong

Low beam (K4 location) relay connection on car doesn't allow for that fifth/middle prong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Moderators – feel free to move this to ‘lighting’ or electrical as appropriate.

The 1990 ETM for the BMW 325i appears to be incorrect in this instance. Page 0670-4 Power Distribution, shows a 5 prong K4 low beam relay, with pins for 86, 85, 30 and 87 and 87b. The only 5 prong relay with these pins I could find is 61368353447. My fuse box for a 325i build date 3/90, with sealed beam headlights, will only allow a 4 prong relay in the K4 spot, with 86, 85, 87 and 30 pins. Similarly, page 6312-0, Headlights, shows the same.
