It's in great shape, all original, White with perfect brown interior. needs a front winshield gasket an acouple of clips to hold the side trim on. They're asking $2500. Is it worth that?

Diesel, I assume? If it really is in great shape, then that is the going rate for these things. I guess you have to make the call if a 30 year-old economy car is worth that kind of cash. I love my Rabbit, but it really is a crude car to drive. -
Its not an oil burner
At least that I can tell, haven't looked under the hood yet, but the Odometer only shows up to 81K. don't know if thats the actual milage, but I'm gonna call the owner.Comment

IIRC those had a problem with the dashes all sagging in the center badly. i think it was fixed in 80? with a different dash material.
if you are looking to do a daily and are not completely dead set on that bodystyle, the A-2 Golf/GTI is a HUGE improvement in every way. still maintains a similar look to it, but runs, drives, stops, shifts, handles, ETC WORLDS BETTER than it's younger brotherseien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen

so is it a diesel?
if so start looking for a factory turbo kit, hug difference in power and bolts on to your motor with not mods!
it makes it run like a gas powered car with a ton of torque, really nice to drive!seien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen
