    This is what I would do: Go strip out all the sound deadening and little bits that can't be seen. It will make a difference. You can put the interior back in and you will be down a few pounds but it won't be a rat

      Hey Kurt! I still have the pictures you e-mailed me of your car 6 or 7 years ago...at the time I had a black '90 325iS and I wanted it to look exactly like yours. I had the car, Ronals, and the full M Tech II kit but I never got the kit installed as I decided to sell it all for my first E30 M3.

      I really don't have any advice for you on the matter-although I would hate to see it parted out personally.

          The rear assembly that I weighed had some parts that attach to the bumper that would come with the normal bumper. The abs stuff is actually pretty light i.e front bumper and spoiler. Still more weight than the stock car.
