This is what I would do: Go strip out all the sound deadening and little bits that can't be seen. It will make a difference. You can put the interior back in and you will be down a few pounds but it won't be a rat

Hey Kurt! I still have the pictures you e-mailed me of your car 6 or 7 years ago...at the time I had a black '90 325iS and I wanted it to look exactly like yours. I had the car, Ronals, and the full M Tech II kit but I never got the kit installed as I decided to sell it all for my first E30 M3.
I really don't have any advice for you on the matter-although I would hate to see it parted out personally.Eric Giles
