Have fun with all your training, I know how it feels to be somewhere else bored out of your mind during the week :P
If it wasn't for you stressing how much more important a dealer sponsorship is vs. going to UTI and maybe missing a class, I would have been seriously looking into UTI.
Because of that, I talked to my uncle (car salesman) and he said the boss owns a BMW dealership in so. cal., and that's probably my best bet since they're good friends. At least this way I have a lead on something REAL, vs. all the stuff that they try to sell you so you can give them $26,000 for the course.

What dealer are you at? I started my apprenticeship about 4.5 months ago, after going to sequoia institute, the biggest waste of $25,000 ever. I have at least another 3-6 months before I think I'll be ready to go out on my own, which then I can start classes *sto50 and 51* Do you stay at the embassy there? I think thats where we all stay.
I'm at Harloff btw.

I am at Santa Barbara Auto Group, formerly Cutter Motors (Started Bimmerfest)
Thats cool that you got in for an apprenticeship. The classes are pretty basic for the first few you go to. I stay at the Ayers Suite's. Last week I was in the Ayers at the Mills mall, and this week I was at the Ayers by the airport on Vinyard. Both pretty nice for under $100/night with a full cook-to-order breakfast.'88 M3.2 S54 Lachssilber/Black
