We saved an E30 from a wrecking yard. Straight body, had snapped the timing belt was all. Only thing they had sold from it was the front bumper. Negiated a price and took it home and did an engine swap. We were looking for a white 4-door 5-speed for a back up chassis for the race car which is why we went for this car.

how you guys would have hated to see the stripping yards on the military posts over here!!! always atleast 20 or so there-- but these days they are thinning out fast.- just as many e36 as e30s in there nowadays.

This place is near my house, they actually do a great job parting these cars out. They save a ton of E30's from the crusher, making a huge amount of parts available. It's up in the Northeast anyway, most of those cars are rusted to shit. They do get some nice ones in, they are great to deal with, call them for some parts and see.

Miss those days, now it's just E36 and a few E32 and E34's. Back in the day they would be scrapped just because the owner couldn't sell it before he left.

Yeah we know who Joel is.
