So... you traded an Xbox for a car (BMW) with an engine (M42) that requires a good deal of maintenance to work (well) and you don't have any money for parts...

You should have went for a camry.

There's a good deal of knowledge here, but begging for free parts (on an almost free car) kinda puts a sour taste in my mouth. Good luck, though.

i dont beg,but sometimes we all need help,and the only reason why i got it was cause a kid traded it to me for a 360 no bs,and everything on the car is good,buttt no engine or flywheel and clutch aside from that it needs proper maintnance its a long shot and i just trying to work with whatever i can get i was expecting a hefty christmas bonus but it fell through so now im back at square 1 like i said anything would be good even a window switch i dont care

If it's straight that's a pretty damn good deal, regardless. Hell, a roller is worth an Xbox.

What do you have? Did just the engine pop?

Do you want to stay with an M42 or go with another engine? If the 5-speed is in good shape, you should be able to mate it with a M20, maybe someone here is doing a swap and wants to get rid of one...
