Missing Antenna Gasket+Rain = Bad?

So I just realized my car doesn't have the gasket around the attenna so their is an exposed area. Am I screwed? It's been raining the past few days and I can only think the worse case scenario which is water getting into a 20 year old chassis and eat it from the inside out.

yup... water can get into the Retro Encabulator AND effect the inverse current of the Magneto Reluctor and rust the Prefabulated Amulite YOU ARE SCREWED!!!!!!

as long as it doesn't affect the mono-current inductionator that connects the flux capacitor to the neuro-discombabulator you should be alright, but stumble is right, if it affects the Magneto Reluctor then you're pretty much screwed.

i already ordered one, but how screwed am I in terms of chances getting water into the chassis? Im not really familiar with these cars ... I come from a land of cars where the antenna is integrated into the rear windshield.

u could go a lil ghetto for now and put something like duct tape or something to close up the hole

Silicone it, and just cut it all off when you get the new one. I think it just goes into the trunk. Pull the carpet and dry it out when it stops raining

If you want to know what the worst case scenario is, open your trunk and look at all the water in it...

IIRC, there is a plug on the bottom of each side tray. If not... well lets just hope it doesn't get to the Magneto Reluctor...

Mine has been missing for a while and I have noticed that my Magneto Reluctor has been performing poorly when it's wet outside. Have a new one on order and also a new antenna gasket.

Pull back the trunk carpet that covers up the driver side quarter panel and have a looksie... better hope the Magneto Reluctor is alright. When I first got my car I had to replace mine and it wasn't fun...

There are plugs on either side though the may be covered in undercoat. I removed both of mine and now never have to worry about my taillight gaskets or my antenna grommet, water in water out.
