Who Do You Insure your car with?

Do you own a house or anything worth a significant amount of money? In other words if I were to sue you for everything you're worth and win what would I have? If your car is titled under your name alone as is your insurance policy your parents or anyone else are free from liability. I carry 100k personal injury for each individual, 300k max per accident, 100k property damage but I am a homeowner. If you're young single and without house or children than the minimum coverage requirement is made for you.Leave a comment:

for those who have liability only. What is the amount of your liability coverage?
I want to do the lowest amount but I'm also hesitant should I do get in an accident that is my fault *knock on wood*
by far i found esurance to be the cheapest because it has the most discounts for my location, status, etc...Leave a comment:

You have to shop around for insurance. Progressive seems to be the cheapest in Philly.Leave a comment:

Apparently I'm getting screwed by insurance. I'm 21, $156 a month for liability only on what the insurance company thinks is a 1990 325i "(srs, anti-lock brakes). Clean record.Leave a comment:

- Progessive
- I live in the city
- 1 accident (my fault)
- no student discount (probably missed it)
- Liability(30/60/30 i think) only so little over $300 for 6monthsLeave a comment:

Same for the most part. My Dad was in the airforce and since I'm his son I get his insurance too. 2 years no accidents, good student discount, clean record.Leave a comment:

a) 3.0 I think
b) 6 months with no claims filed
c) i forget the name but all you have to do is read a book on safe driving and watch a movie, fill out some questions and take it back to them.Leave a comment:

The state has certain minimums for medical, property damage etc. The reason a lot of people don't carry collision is in the eyes of the insurance company and a lot of other people your car with all of it's "mods" and cosmetic shit is worth about $600 tops if it's was from the 90's and $325 for an earlier model.
I'm 30, I'm with usaa, carry liability only 250/500/250 on three vehicles: 69 vw bug, 81 vw caddy, 86 eta and a home owners policy which I can't recall the details right now, pretty standard, 250 structure, 500 injury etc. $660 for the six month premium.Leave a comment:
