Should I buy

I'm still a learning E30 enthusiast, so I require an opinion on a possible purchase.
I found a 1991 318i Brilliantrot Sedan for $500, trashed engine, 5 speed, 180k miles. I am mainly looking to purchase it for misc. parts that would cost $500 if not more if I were to buy them individually used. I would then part the rest of car out here, and locally. If I would have had a parts car when I started my project, I would have saved a ton of money and time. 20 years cars need a lot of replacement parts. I didn't see the pics, but $500 sounds like a good deal if there are lot's of re-usable/sellable parts, especially if you plan on getting another sedan.

$500 is what I bought my parts car for, I used plenty of stuff off of it and still made a good grand in cash afterwards. I highly recommend it and from the looks of it you could definitely sell that shell if it has minimal rust.

Thanks for the comment, i'll have to see if I can get the guy to sell it for a cheeper price, will update with a part-out thread (hopefully).
