I keep hearing stories like this that amaze me. Where is all the money froml the NBA stars and rap artists?? Just proves that those people shouldn't be thought of as heroes.
where is your proof that the NBA stars and Rap stars haven't helped at all?

I'm not gonna go around and research if other baseketball players have donated, or if rappers have donated at all. But I'm going to assume that just because the headlines do not say so, it doesn't mean that they have not donated.

You should also take note that the average NBA players' wages do not even come close to what Michael Schumacher makes. Same with the average rappers. So if you think that everyone must donate such a large sum to be even considered to be accepeted as 'heroes', then you need to deal with your ignorance.
Bullshit. You look at all those ridiculous houses and cars that all those rappers, NBA and NFL stars are always flaunting 5-6 of each on "Cribs", and tell me they don't make that much money. I'll bet money that maybe ONE rap star has donated any money to the relief of Southeast Asia. And just in case you're going to freak out about that too, I bet it's the same with rock stars, probably less.

Jesus man, you're just so up in arms about defending the names and "legacies" of rap artists and shit that you just have to jump right up and play defense attorney anytime anyone even says the slightest slanderous thing about them, don't you? You need to learn to calm the fuck down!

I honesly could give less of a shit about who donates money for them. If people decide to, that's great. I would think just as highly of a person who donated $10 as someone who donated $10 million. I swear, some of you guys can get into pissing contests and flame wars over the most trivial shit.
Clearly, you have not read what brodee wrote, or what i wrote.

The irony here is that, I was very calm. Brodee claimed that there are no NBA stars who donates money, which is untrue, and so I responded back correcting his mistake. . . calmly. The ONLY person here who needs to 'calm the fuck down' is you.

I understand exactly where brodee is coming from - that NBA stars and Rap superstars are the popular role model for many kids these days, and sometimes perhaps it shouldn't be that way.
My claim only meant, that the issue can't be generalized by saying 'NBA Stars' and 'Rap stars' because there are some good guys out there mixed in with the bad.

And my main point is that, some people are so ignorant that they think they DONT see in the headlines of a newspaper DOES NOT take place. For example, NBA stars donating. NBA stars are donating a lot of money, but that doesn't make a great story when Leo is donating a mil, and Shumacher is donatin 10 mil.
