I'd argue that the sex pistols were the ones who really pioneered punk. If you play a Ramones record at half-speed it's the damn Beach Boys.

Meh, I see your point. But I don't like alot of the punk that is fast with a few exceptions. I'm more into oldschool rap, some punk, and a mix of both with other stuff for flavor. Really alot of stuff with the exception of country, and almost all mainstream things nowadays.
