Jawbone = crap, especially if you're going to be driving a vert.
The Plantronic 975 (comes w/ rechargeable case) is definitely a nice headset, better than the jawbone I would say. You should also take a look into the Plantronic Voyager Pro if you don't mind the size and style.
Motorola just came out with the HX1 not too long ago and that headset works extremely well in all types of condition. The HX1 has bone conducting technology unlike the 'Jawbone'. Only con about this headset is that it's not going to work well for everyone. If it's not snuggled in your ear canal, your voice on the other line will sound like crap.
I would go for Plantronic 975, Voyager Pro, or the Motorola HX1. The Jawbone is going to be kinda iffy when you're driving and the wind is blowing around you.
Another brand you should look into would be the blueant. They make some pretty decent headset too.
