    What a deal.

I picked up a 1990 325i this past weekend for $300. It has 240,000 miles. They put a rebuilt head on it and they did something worng. It runs like crap and is running hot. But the body is very straight only 2 door dings. It does need the front seats they are in kinda bad shape. All of the power windows and sun roof work. So does the AC. The car will drive very short distance. I will start pulling it apart this weekend. It will be my sons new ride as soon as we get it up and runnig. OH it also has a new set of tires on it.

I live just north of Memphis. I just couldnt pass it up. My son and I are going to start trearing it down this weeked. I also found a '92 M50 non vanos complete with 5 speed and all accessories, wiring, computer and everything for $200. I might just put that in it just for fun. My friend owns the wrecked 92 said I could have it all for $200 if I pull it out.

                wow, great deal.

i could use the radiator's mounting hardware and
expansion tank hose with T connectors (if any) to radiator > engine block > heater core > etc..,

as you know, 87's have a dedicated port at water pump for expansion tank (passanger side), 89's do not and i'm a bit confused.

already bought an 89 radiator and expansion tank.

                thanks,
                Frank

Yea this car is for my son. I decided not to put the M50 in it. I took the engine apart and and the #2 cylinder and piston is shot. I have another block comming today and will be reassembily every thing soon. I will jsut hang on to the M50 for now. I really want the Vanos for my Cabrio. I may just sell the Non vanos one. I hope to have this car back on the raoad for under $1000. He recked his Nissan altima and I told him that all I am going to spend on another car is a grang. After that he is on his own.

I now have the car running. The trans is not working just right but I will let it go until it gives up then do a 5 speed swap. I give a 2- thumbs up to BMA for getting my rings to me so quickly and at a good price. I put a new black sprot seat interior in the car I found in the Salvage yard. I am now setting at about $1000 or less in the car and it is on the road. I drives pretty good. I still ned to put a windshield in it but it is drivale. I put the stereo out of his wrecked car in to this car. Had to run all new wiring but it wast too bad since I had to run the cable for the CD changer in the truck anyway. When I get a chance I will post a pic of the Car.
