Ford sites? CL? Have any pics? Year and condition might also be helpful info considering %99 of members here don't know two things or give two shits about fords aside from maybe euro escorts and sierras. I personally think that you should have gotten the cash for your clunker, I would have traded my car but the eta is too fuel efficient.

it was a good running motor. after some research it seems that this is the same motor the 5.0 mustangers love.. so the intake stuff alone is over 100 bucks, the block, tranny and rear axle should be a few hundred, then all the other crap and then the scrap metal.. might bring some decent cash?

should i at least try to fix the headgasket?

          haha

thanks! looks like the almighty has spoken!

          (after sleeping on it... )
I think i will part it out, but upon dismantling the engine, if the heads arent cracked, or twisted like a bad 2x4, then i might throw a new headgasket on and see what happens.
          That is doubtful though...
So if anyone here needs some parts for a 5.0 v8 e30 build.... Let me know.

We blew up so many Explorers during the CFC program. The V8's were much stronger compared to the shitty 6 cylinder engines. Those would throw rods in a hearbeat.
