    new guy

Just getting into the whole bmw scene, friend of mine has an e30 its and 87 325is and i drove it a little bit and basically have to have one now. So i figured coming here would be a good move so i can learn a little bit and hopefully find a good deal on one. im from detroit, mi and don't have a lot of money just yet, been trying to find someone who wants to trade there e30 for my jeep since its 4x4 and great in the snow ive been hopin that will get someones interest. If the trading plan fails (which im assuming it will) I'll be selling the jeep in the spring and saving to buy a clean one if i can find one so i hope i can learn a thing or two from the people on here, sorry for the way long intro, just wanted to introduce myself!

Inexpensive e30s pop up all the time...even nice ones. If you can swing it, keep the Jeep. One of them will be on jackstands one time or another. Welcome!

+1 for keeping the jeep......unless you can haul around large parts from junkyards on your yamaha.

Just keep an eye on craigslist and these forums and you'll find a decent fixer-upper for between 1000-2000.

haha thanks everyone, i've developed a rather thick skin from spending a couple years as a frequent visitor on Motown Muscle, not sure if any of you from Michigan are familiar with it but it was the best place to get info or parts when i owned my 5.0 Mustang so i figure itd be the same with my interest in bmws here, hope im right!
