    North Carolina Members!!! Help???

    I had a quick question for you guys.
    Im going to Charlotte NC in March and wanted to see how far is Bristol Tenesee from Charlotte??? Is it too far? like 3 hours?

    Is it too far to drive out in the morning and back @ night to Charlotte?
    Im planning on attending the Race on march 21 and driving back to charlotte after the race!!!

    What do you guys think????

      thatd be a long haul, but could definitly be done. i'd advise bringing a co-driver just incase your too exhausted from the days fun.

        Ok its says 3hours and 24 minutes. 175 miles... Thats not that bad.... I think..... LOL

          thats not bad at all. i drive from wilmington to the mountains on a regular weekend.
          ill do 300 miles one way for the day to climb.. and drive back that night.

            Yeah bro thats no prob. I would do it in a heartbeat. What kind of race? Bristol isnt far from me either, like 2 hrs. Hell Raleigh is that far.

              Its a Nascar race!
              Im going to Charlotte for work on monday through wednesday but im flying in on saturday so i thought I could drive to bristol on sunday and watch the Race and head back to charlotte after the race!

                    The race will be like 3 hours long (assuming no rain delays, etc), then it'll take you another hour or two to get out of the traffic around the track after the race and actually get on the road.

                    You can do it, just plan for the worst in terms of time + delays, etc.

                      Lol I think you should do it, I watched the 12 hours of Sebring and drove back from Florida to NC with my co-driver. Other than falling asleep at the wheel in SC(car next to me politely honked as i started to veer off the road thank god) there were no problems. So let me say "Do it" and take someone with you, and as soon as you feel tired switch, or stop for coffee or something.

                          considering half of charlotte will be making this trip, you could try and find a ride. Highway will be fun too, as every redneck in a v6 Monte Carlo will be trying to set a land speed record.

                          If you go up I-77, be careful, cops there are assholes and will be waiting. Other way may be 20 minutes longer, but you will be a lot safer.

                            Dont listen to anyone. Will you have fun? Fuck yes. Will it be a long drive? Fuck yes. Is it worth it? If its what you want and you have a great time, FUCK YES! If you havent treated yourself in a while DO IT!

                              Yeah 77 is a trap for sure, they are everywhere. Especially the farther north of Charlotte.
