No one buys them for 60k anymore and the e36 is just as bad. As for the s2000, it has no torque and no back seat. I do recall a lawsuit going on about the subframes on all e46's with BMWNA.1985 BMW 325e

I heard that some people were working on a class action lawsuit for this very problem.
I also heard that there was some sort of recall and that BMW was fixing cars that were brought in with this problem.
