I am pretty sure I am going to be in the lead after they update the league, my gamble on Schumi paid off! Now onto Monza, who knows what the fuck will happen there. -
I really hope Austin is a good layout and has some elevation change to it. There is no reason it shouldnt be a fast long layout with land as cheap as it is in TX. Anyone from the area that knows about the location of where the track is being constructed?Leave a comment:

Belgium was a lot of fun, throwing the rain in the mix brought some excitement, finally ! At least I didn't fall asleep once watching this raceLeave a comment:

thanks for answering the question. I definitely do love seeing tracks with a bunch of greenery or something like it and elevation change. How can it be that this Tilke guy is designing so many tracks now a days?Leave a comment:

Turkey is decent as well, the only thing Tilke has done right.Ill say it, they are boring unless it rains and suck ass. Its one giant parade lap and the pace is slower. Slow corners, and pancake flat topography. Limited places to pass, and like pharow was saying they have a sterile feel to them. The old classic tracks are just that, classic. Lots of elevation change, off camber corners, high speed corners, generally long layouts cut through the country side, exception to these features is Monacco. Prob is new tracks are more lucuritive to F1, and have better facilities. The worst are the new street circuts, and Bahrain. Yeah the surroundings and garages are modern and pretty, but they have no character and do not show case what these machines are capable of. I mean to watch an F1 car go into eau rouge is absolutely amazing, and thats on tv which does not capture the true speed and change in elevation. Then watch singapore, bahrain, valencia, malaysia, china, and Im sure India will be the same, any tilke designed track other then one turn in hungary and you will understand.Leave a comment:

the old tracks are classic. they never let you down with a boring race. they have beautiful surroundings and scenery. there are lots of differences in types of turns. the surroundings set how the race is set.
the new tracks are cool, but its like they have no soul. they are man made...if u get what im saying. designed on a computer, and layed out flat. i wont say tht they are boring, they just dont have what the old tracks have.Leave a comment:

New = boring
Old = exciting
That's as simple as I can make it.Leave a comment:

All in all that was one of the most intense races I have seen in a little while. Even though I am disappointed by Hamilton winning, at least I can honestly say he completely earned it.Leave a comment:

^ Clutch problems. On the formation lap he had a small problem with the clutch. He changed a few settings but just made it worse and when he tried to go his car bogged down and grabbed anti-stallLeave a comment:

What was the cause for Webers terrible start? Have they said clutch probs or just driver error. Vettel is pressing to much, my guess is now he is pretty much out of the points he will actually relax and drive better, but will have to fall in line behind Weber.
Holy shit the ferrari's rear suspension is stout, alsonso was absoluetly drilled, and didnt skip a beat. I was waiting for it to fail all race and then he slides and wrecks the front suspension instead.
Glad to see ol Bobby Kubitzer back on the podium, and a nice performance by Schumi. All in all just another day at SPA the best track on the schedule, these old tracks kick ass. Only two weeks till MonzaLeave a comment:

Hick,
I watched the replay again on Liuzzi. Yes, Seb was faster. And I do agree it was a racing incident. Certainly not as big of an error by Vettel in that pass. But to be honest, if he is not up front turning clean fast laps, Vettel is a bit of a kamikaze driver.
Webber and Vettel both seem to have lapses in judgment. The major difference is, Webber's is usually only with his mouth - and he only sometimes hurts himself. Vettel is usually doing it at speed - where he can actually cause harm to others.
All in all, an enjoyable race to watch. I'd love to turn a lap at Spa someday.Leave a comment:
