I hope they auction those off for charity afterward, though I can totally see it just sitting in Lewis' room on an illuminated shelf.

          What I was saying was:

-to finish the race he had to limp a car home with no brakes

-to keep from being passed he had to keep his cornering speeds up from normal race pace, since he could not stay @ WOT nearly as long as his competitors

-he not only limped the car home, but finished in the points

-he not only finished in the points, but on the podium

If you've ever seen an F1 car under braking, you will see the above performance as nothing less than heroic. I cannot believe that he was not passed. If you haven't seen a modern F1 car live--in person--then what he did just doesn't carry the same weight.

I definitely appreciate the braking performance of an F1 car, one of my favourite spots to watch them at Melbourne is braking into turn 3, from 300km/h down to about 80km/h in about 80m is amazing. Keep in mind he had a gap of 45-50 seconds back to MS who had mirrors full of Button, and a car that was just faster to begin with.

I didn't say Vettel didn't do a good job finishing the race, but saying that he was the best by far as you did is taking it a bit far. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but the first thing I said before was about how you stated it as fact...

Vettel did set a purple sector time in the middle sector with just 3 brakes disks....just saying. But my avatar obviously shows I am biased.

^ Seriously. Had it not been for Red Bull's reliability, Vettel would be the points leader right about now.

I gotta look into my Fantasy League, as Massa is not delivering anymore. If he doesnt deliver in Monaco, I might have to replace the guy.

By the way, one to note is Schumacher. He's starting to get it back together. Finished 4th in Spain, and he's among the fastest during practice today in Monaco.

Massa has been down in the lower top 10 the past few races, so I think it would be a smart idea. I keep switching mine around and I am always like 1 race off, though I have had Vettel every race. I think Webber will continue to do well as he usually builds on previous success, and I went with Lewis for Monaco even though he is my nemesis, I can't deny his ability around Monaco.

I dunno, Webber is a tough call. He has too many "off" days. He's only had 3 career wins in his life, including this past weekend's race.

Yeah, a bit of a gamble but in Monaco, qualifying matters more than usual and I can't bet against RBR in qualifying when they are 5 for 5.

....buuuuuttt they always have a high-speed car. Low-speed mechanical grip is not their forte. I think they will be top-5 in Q, but I see McLaren grabbing pole in the city-state.

Yeah I thought about that as well, but they did well in practice. All this is wrinkling my brain, too much thought being put into F1 on a daily basis by me. I need to calm it down and just wait for the race.

                            I lol'ed at this article http://formula-one.speedtv.com/artic...an-schumacher/
Apparently Lewis doesn't want to be remembered as a "Cheat" like Michael Schumacher. I think one of the comments at the bottom says it best, "hey ron dennis's frankenstein your legacy is already dubious at best."

Webber on pole, Vettel in 3rd. Awesome run by Kubica to start from the front row as well. Alonso will start from the back after crashing in final practice. Those are the highlights from quali.

if she goes for that, astroglide up your pole, have her lay on her stomach and slip it in slowly and bury it to your balls and leave it there until she relaxes. once she is used to it slam that ass like a screen door.
