Out of all the new tracks, the only one I found entertaining was Indy. One decently long straight & one really long with banking. I do wish they would have opened up the infield a bit more. Parking lot speeds are not what F1 is about. Hmmm....how about a Nurburgring Karussell replica at the end of the back straight?

I do think that the recent championships were close & wildly entertaining even if the racing was not.

League members, do you see any points by your names after the first race? When I view the league, we are ranked, but we all have zero points. Everyone else's say the same? I am glad it doesn't actually matter until Malaysia lol, I have made some mistakes in setting up my team I think.

Ron Dennis is questioning Vettel's sparkplug/exhaust issue

kinda makes sence if you ask me, hope we can hear more of what happened and follow up to what he (Dennis) is claiming.

got back and watch the race. listen to vettels car down the straights... it sounds different than the other cars and even different from earlier in the race. Def had a problem.

I agree. The exhaust sounded....garbled. Especially coming out of slower corners.

You think he would have been running different fuel mixtures and the like way ahead of time if they had known he was getting low on fuel, like Massa did. Ron Dennis needs to shut his mouth.

I don't have a link for this (just google lewis hamilton police) but on friday night in melbourne lewis hamilton got caught for doing burnouts in his amg. The police stopped him at 9:15 on fitzroy st. in st. kilda. Guess where i was going out to dinner at the time?? We saw the police and a whole bunch of people crowded around, found out this morning that it was hamilton. His car was impounded til monday morning!

Qualifying results for the Australian GP are as follows......

                            1. Vettel (RBR) 2. Webber (RBR) 3. Alonso (Ferrari).

Button, Massa, Rosberg, Schumi, Barichello, Kubica and Sutil rounding out the top 10.

Something was happening to Hamilton's car and he didn't make it out of Q2. From 12-17 position everyone was very close on times.

I hope the race is interesting tomorrow. I wasn't too impressed with the qualifications.

I was impressed with all the dorifto's that was going on, so there will probably be a lot of wrecks in the race, especially with the rain that is possible.

Did anyone watch the post-qualifying interviews? Webber was very very upset.
