Best of luck with it, I hope you did not pay much for it. Sports Car Restoration does some excellent 02 work they are recommended over on www.2002faq.com

    Plans for it?

Its been sitting in a NYC parking lot since I bought it with a blown tranny from a DJ buddy of mine who had it for years (it was his first car) for $400. Matt McGinn from Sports Car Restoration actually donated a automatic transmission to me. He is the fucking man! As of today I had it transported to my friends house, where we can work on it! Whoo! I am going to swap the transmission this week and get it moving.

The engine has like 20,000 miles on it since a rebuild 2yrs ago, new radiator, rear shock towers redone recently. Interior is in great shape!

      Plans for it...

New rocker panels, swap the driver side door, fix the rust. The previous owner also gave me a brake kit for the rears I will put on. Sand primer and paint, and take it to the beach this summer. Find a roof rack for it so I can get a surfboard. Put my spare E30 BBS 14" rims on it. If I get some cash do a manual swap. Nothing crazy on the 2002 besides working out the bugs, give its some TLC and make it look pretty. Hopefully I will do a engine swap on the E30 this summer so most of my funds will go towards that.

I'm jealous! Looks like it will be quite a project. What are your plans for it?

Cool but you will need to ditch the nasty late model bumpers. Talk to Blunt, he's a good 02 source as well.

Will expect to see the final results at Limerock in late August.

Sport Car Restoration guys are highly knowledgeable. These guys have a wealth of expertise. I have known Matt since he first started as an appentice in Massachusset, close to 15 years ago, if not more. He's the shit. And his team is great too.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

That e24 on SCR is absolutely disgusting. I want an e24 so baddd.

Sick 2002, my buddy had one a while ago they're kick ass little cars.
