Seems like no one post any of their cars anymore. Has the love for E30's died in Germany?

yeah.......
the last show I was at last summer really hurt my feelings. the E30 guys are still out there-- but the fanboyness of it has passed with rust. shit-- you can pick up a 318 e46 for around 2500 nowadays over here-- and they make way more cool ebay fiberglass parts for those!!

True but I still like to see others interpretations. I like E46's just don't like the build quality of cars built in BMW's computer age hence why we tend to stay with the old tried and true.
These days you are hard pressed to see an e30 on a military base in Germany. When I was stationed there in the early part of the decade everyone had one and an E34 or E32 for their wife.
These days even lowly E36's are being weeded out of service quickly because they just don't have the over built drivetrain.Comment

heck-- when I got here to Bamberg in '95 it was a joke on Post that a white e21 was part of the basic issue TA50. I swear atleast every 10th car on post was a WHITE 316 crapbox.
there still are the e30 guys out there-- actually a few months ago Timo- the guy that runs the site was over at my buddy that bought my turbo car's place- there was a large gathering of guys there- timo was showing off his new Alpinas and brakes on the M3.
hopefully they are all just to busy building stuff to update the site!!!!Comment
