A while back someone came up to my pops at the dmv, saw him in the e30 and offered to sell an e30 that he had...

its a towing company who towed an e30 from an enthusiast.(enthusiast in my opinion)

its a 89-90.cant remember
lachssilber 325i.

the guy set the price at $1500, the car has about 176,XXX and is a 5 speed..

we finally got a chance to actually look at the car today. and here are the ups and downs

good:
good condition leather sport seats.
valance complete with fogs/air ducts
momo steering wheel/hub.
zender side skirts.
crack free dash.
10 inch sub.
rear spoiler.
enkei wheels.(looks like enkei tarmac wheels)

BADS:
Car was crashed in the front. and radiator support was straightened out.
The paint on the roof is no good. dark scratches/clear coat pealing/and 1 bare spot of metal near the windshield.
passanger door was worked around. but not a big problem.
passanger fender dented in at the front.

the price is still negotiable,

i need your opinions on whether i should take this car...

Don't buy that car for more than 700 bucks or so. You must not be looking hard if you can't find a nice E30 in Southern California.

the reason i cant find a good 325i 5 speed is because i only have $1500 MAX!

so whatever i can get my hands on will work...

yeah its a running car. and i dont want to be stuck with a 84 318.thats the only reason i would pic this up. because its probably the best 325i ide get at this price or lower if i cut a deal with the guy...

Save another 500 now and buy a cleaner 2k car, instead of getting a heap for 1500 that you'll have to dump another 1500 easy... ?

Why are you buying is the question? You live in California use www.searchtempest.com and search for an e30 in your price range and distance that you are willing to shop.
