    To be? or not be?

    I found this 325is on craigslist. http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/1564310310.html
it looks clean, I just dont know how much better suited it will be for an s5x swap than my current 84 318i. I dont know any better place to ask for advice on e30's so...What do you guys think?

Its no better suited for the swap, it just comes down to personal preference. Do you like the early style or later styles better?

wow you are right, I just found his car for sale in the for sale section, and for $300 less than what the ad says. I feel like a shithead now. must be awkward for him if he comes across this thread and reads this...

Try for 3k. And don't post CL ads on here unless you want someone snagging the car from under you tonight.

Less things to upgrade that's for sure (suspension/strut housings/brakes/diff/trailing arms...).

Sorry, im kind of a noob, but why would I have to upgrade the strut housings? Is it 100% necessary, or just something people do to enhance the rigidity of the chassis?
