We have some people who dismantle BMW's specifically, but they charge an arm and a leg for the most minor stuff.

I've dropped by there a few times when I was in Georgia. Thrash is a cool guy and so far the only shop I had work on my car.
Anyone know the story behind the place burning down some time ago?Leave a comment:

I noticed the same thing, they bumped the contrast up like they were taking stance pictures and made him look like an aged Indian, no offense to our senior Native American members, but see...
I was surprised by those E9 "CSL" doors though, seeing as all 3.0/3.2 CSL's had aluminum doors. More than likely just some factory-ordered pinstripe on an E9.
Well that just means the Vortexers will get to it next week then. :DLeave a comment:

There's a boneyard like that for VW's here, it's about 20 miles east of town. Just a total graveyard of aircooled Busses and Beetles, shitloads of MkI and MkII's, engines, transmissions, frames, body panels, everything. It's a pretty epic collection, and it will probably just rot there forever. Kind of sad, but kind of amazing at the same time.Leave a comment:
