With this crazy winter weather coming towards massachusetts, it is time to bust out the snow tires. Never driven my car in the snow so it will be fun!

oh it IS fun :up: some of my college buddies & i set up a little ralley course around this parkin lot & made some timed run... man was that fun 8)

it is not as fun when there is a lot of snow. like under an inch in a big empty parking lot is so fun! i cant wait, but i also dont feel like snow yet.

Yea used but very lightly. No rust on wheels and deep tread pattern still. Just got to be quick when search the classifieds.

yeah used nokian hakkepelitas or whatever from my dads old 320i. they were studded, but now they are worn down. surprising amount of tread though.

winter everywhere else makes me LOVE Santa Barbara even more! it never drops below 50 degrees, and I get to run my high performance tires year round, with NO problems at all!
snow is fun, but I got stuck in my old M3 a few years back, and it sucked trying to get home when I was only 50ft away!!

Just kidding. Yeah, snow is a PITA after the first few inches fall every season. And to think; my snow tires aren't coming off until around March, that is daunting indeed.

At least we can go sledding. :) And afterwards, drink hot cocoa. Those are probably things you get deprived of if you grow up in CA, because who drinks hot cocoa after going to the beach?

oh how nieve you are my son!!!
We DO get snow in cali. I grew up in the snow, and lived 35min from a HUGE ski resort.
ever heard of Tahoe? ya, I lived an hour west. People think cali is all sun and babes at the beach, but thats not the case.

I used to like the snow, but after living far from it and in the warm weather, I think again, and don't really miss it at all!

yeah, I shoulda modified that to say Southern CA... Anyway, I'm just pissed because there's a mountain of snow covering my car right now. :) And it isn't even the snowball kind of snow, it's the powdery kind that is only good for stuffing down people's jackets.
