Your e30 will put all of ours to shame when it's done.

I agree, I've been running euro plates for 3 years and get compliments and people asking about them all the time. My german buddy who is staying with me atm loves them haha

On a side note, I can't believe you guys don't have to run a front plate -furthermore; that you can run a "fake" plate with something totally diferent on it?? wierd.

In case you want to test different names www.europeanplates.net

I of course like them; however that is a heavily biased opinion.

I had a few cars with euro plates with my initials, and birth date on them. On some cars, the plate does a great job of breaking up the looks of the front of the car, and thus an improvement.
If you're happy with it the idea, who really cares what others think???

              OK, off topic.

Yes on the Lanica. It is near the start of a full restoration and a bunch of performance mods. Should be atr several shows by the end of summer.

I'd love to import one someday.

All you need now is a Quattro, and you'll have a good percentage of old skool flared fender cars.

My cali plate says E30LIFE. My front euro plate matches it, but its in german. E30 LEBEN. I get compliments and people always stare at it. Wouldnt trade it for anything

"car enthusiasm is not supposed to be a contest to see who's car is better.
Just a respect for the other people who love cars too."

                        THIS.^

I think you should love your car and do what you please with it. Its not like you're
asking people to buy the plate for you, your money your car, do what you like.

That said, i like european plates, I'll eventually snag a set and use them for meets
                        and drives.

Don't try too hard coming up with something 'clever' that usually results in regret.
You'll think of something, or why not match them with your state plate?
Depending on the laws you might well be able to run it, at least the front.
