    Stainless steel brake lines

I'm not quite sure how to explain my question. I'm looking for a set of brake lines where the nut rotates freely of the brake line.

In other words, it's not just crimped on the end of the line. That way you could actually tighten/loosen the nut without it turning the entire line.

Not sure if I'm explaining that clearly enough.

Does any company make lines like this?

It's how the lines were on my old car, just wanted to make sure companies aren't still making them like this before I spend money on lines for my 318.

On steel lines, fittings should rotate freely.
On braided lines, fitting are crimped. So you must set some steps when you fit the parts together... Use your brains. ;-)
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

It is not really necessary. The nuts on the hard lines rotate freely.

If you screw the line into the caliper first then you can tighten it to the hard line without twisting the soft line.

speiglers braided lines can be rotated, but not on the car, in a vice with a tool they send with the lines

im pretty sure my SS lines the nut rotated freely. I put them on my m3 and e30 with out any issues.

new e28 will get them sooner than later
