    Mini DV cameras?

Okay boys, looks like we have a few Audio/video guys here, time to ask for opinions.

I'm looking for a small and relatively inexpensive DV camera, primarily for use in my car for on track video and such.

This is the one I've been looking at recently, the Sony HC20 mini DV, pretty much the low end model of Sony's line. The lack of memory stick capabilty doesn't bother me, nor does the monochrome viewfinder, as I'll mostly have it mounted behind me anyways.

Anyone got any experience with this model, or have any recomendations in the 300-500 dollar price range? I've looked at some of the lower priced JVC's and panasonic's, and they're all about 1/2-3/4 of an inch wider. Size is a big factor for me.

    Thanks.

It's been several months since I sold camcorders at circuit city, but the lower end panasonic mini DVs are excellent cameras for the price. Check them out.
