Next time I find a 530 touring it's coming home and eating an M70 for lunch
that sounds cool ..but im afraid on engine swapping...just cuz the new engines are so much more complicated ....maybe as i spend more time at the junkyard i can figure out all the wiring harnesses. i finally got a grip on the 318i fuel injection and its not that bad. but im not ready to swap anyting just yet. i love to see an s14 or m42 up close ....but they are just not around....
check out this bullshit i saw at the yard today....
cant believe they are killin m20's wholesale....

I work for Toyota, and had to blow up an old 735I...With the v8 and I was pissed! It wouldnt die though, cooling system blew up, then a fuel line popped and it caught on fire! The fire department and police had to come and all that jazz

the m70 has 2 distributor caps it's basically 2 m20s that share a block, it's my personal favorite v12, it has 2 fuel systems, 2 distributors pretty much 2 of everything and i love it.

This place is like catholic school, 2/3 of the students smoke weed on a daily basis, but the faculty seems to convince the outside world that drugs are just in the other schools, the resident pot dealer thinks he's cool because he has the originality to call anyone he doesn't like a homosexual, and most of the little children follow him like sheep, then there's the few with brains, you hardly ever hear from them, perhaps don't even know they exist, but they get all the sh!t done.

Before C4C parts car were easy to find and cheap, now...GOOD LUCK! It isn't that hard, you just need a bentley for the donor vehicle and the recieving vehicle, label all the wires, remove what is not needed, splice the rest, plug and play, engine wiring usually is mostly separate from the rest of the car.

they have things to modify the m70 to like 480 hp course it'll cost you about 48,000 personally i'd buy m20 parts (they're fairly interchangeable-ish) and then i'd twin turbo it, the m20 valves valvetrain is all interchangeable, and you can use arp main and head studs from an m20. cams i am not sure about and megasquirt is an option. as far as piston rods and a crank thats all things you're gonna need to go custom on but like i said korman
