am i going to lose my license again?

so whenever i get a ticket i lose my license for 2 months. just cause i've gotten so many. i haven't gotten one in a little over a year but it takes 2 years for them to fall off. anyways so the other day i was driving my bosses truck. i got pulled over cause the license plate was covered in salt. i also couldn't find the reg. he gave me a ticket for not having the reg on me. $35 ticket. i really don't care about the money i'm just worried i'm gona lose my license. is it concidered a moving violation? i'm pretty sure i will only lose it if it is? anyone know how this works? i know if u get a ticket for not having ur seatbelt on its not coincidered a moving violation. does this fall into the same category?

why don't you look up your states revised statutes regarding a no registration in a motor vehicle, or something of the sort? then go from there.

Are you serious? Go to court and show the REG. It will be thrown out and the charge dropped. It's a work vehicle, I am sure the judge will show some compassion.

Ahhh for some reason I thought you were older. Call the court clerk in your town and explain the situation to them like an adult. There is no shame in being concerned about your livelyhood. Sell it as you made mistakes in the past, but you want to rectify this due to turning over a "new leaf".

its all up to the registry i guess. so i hafta get it thrown out in court. if i don't it will go to the registry and then its up to them. then i have no say in enything. i can call the town clerk where i got pulled over and talk to him

You should just be able to show the registration, and if its current, it'll be dropped. Doesn't matter if its a work vehicle or not, if the plates were expired and you are the driver, you'd get the points.
