    My brother need a car

Ok, so heres the deal. My younger brother needs a first car. The only car I have ever owned is my e30 and but I cant quite recommend one for him as

    1. He doesnt want to always be working on it
    2. I cant find any e30 near me anyways.

So, what are some good non e30 first car ideas?

What does he like? Does he drive manual? What's the budget? Does he drink a lot, smoke grass or enjoy wrapping cars around telephone poles for any other reason?

A little Nissan Sentra. Great gas mileage and affordable. Relative to e30's, fairly low maint.

I say get him an e30 and help him work on it. Later down the road he'll appreciate the experience.

e28? reliable, well built, still pretty fun to drive, and he can say he drives a BMW.

or just get a honda accord. stay away from vw's.

The main problem with this is not working on it, but being able to find a decent one. I live in Michigan, so not many people bought BMW's in the 80's and the ones that did are all rusted out and shitty. I had to take a weekend road trip to get mine and I dont think he is quite that dedicated lol.

So honda accord seems to be the general consensus?
