    driveshaft help!!! Need to finish this tonight please help!!!!

    I am replacing my trans and have it mounted and everything I am to the point of putting the drive shaft back on and it does not reach!! when we were removing it it was almost to tight I put in an lsd as oppossed to the 4.10 open diff I had before and the lsd I put in is actually bigger than the old one. I really need some help anything is appreciated!!!!! I need to finish this tonight!!!

    the drive shaft will extend. You need to loosen the nut behind the CSB.
    Changing the LSD isnt going to change the length of your driveshaft.

          ok but there is no play with the drive shaft though we have those two bolts lose it just isnt moving

              but where I dont understand where I should be getting play from the drive shaft is completely extended where am I missing that it will move from

                  the big center collar nut behind the CSB or "center support bearing" ...aka that thing in the middle...it is threaded to the splined center section

                  Loosten that fucker and extend or lengthern the shft as needed

                    Installation is the reverse of removal. :)
