Ok, my post was out of line, you guys are correct on that.

EJ, dick move on my part. My apologies, I should have stayed out of this thread and kept my mouth shut.

Who the fuck cares about some jackass on emotech running over some crap.
That is kinda the whole point of a skid plate is it not?

Why does it always have to be the 'emotech' card. That is so lame and immature. Hell that one comment almost eclipses my asshole product bashing post.

Either way no matter how you all look at it, or how you slice it, I already screwed the pooch on this thread. That was my mistake so there is nothing else to say about it.

fyi peerless, when the skid plate is attached it acts as a stiffening component for the core support, so it protects your oilpan, and stiffens your weak core support.

        thats poor business tactics there.
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

You left out the "In its defence i hit something the size of a cement block thats made of steel.. Fucking streets of ny -_-" comment after the "race skids."

Yours is obviously stronger, but for 99% of the crowd here, Eric's will work just fine. You would probably break your front subframe if you hit anything hard enough to break through the plate.

Congratulations! I remember walking by you at e30 picnic last year selling your skidplates. Should've bought one then.

i have one of these. i didnt put it through much abuse. but it has hit the road and it took a little beating on the snow and ice sticking up in the middle of the road.

Mine has had many a love tap with NO consequences and I have a few happy customers at my shop who have them as well and have nothing but good things to say.

Peerless, get the fuck out of this thread and sell your retarded, universal-fit skid plates elsewhere. Raceskids plates are EXTREMELY solid and most importantly can be installed with basic tools in about 20 minutes. Yours require welding to the body, which if not done properly, will cause rust down the road. Thanks but no thanks, I'll take the plate that's survived my NH spring time for the last two years. NY ain't seen SHIT!

Eric, any thoughts on an IX plate? It would be huge on account of the sump being behind the subframe but I think it would be awesome to have protection all the way back, maybe to the t-case...?
