Who's E30 "325it"? -Santa Barbara Area

My brother is out in Santa Barbara this week visiting his girlfriend. He was on the way to Rincon to surf and came across this E30 pickup and sent me a cell phone pic.

Is it anyone on here? It looks pretty well executed from what I can tell...

Yeah, I still see it every once in awhile in Isla Vista, note it's also 5-lug. I've wondered about it; never seen the owner though.
