alum can be tricky to bend in tight radius. i would go for conduit for low $ or thin wall chromo if you have the $. do you have access to a TIG welder?

i dont think it will look good either, but hey it will gain you experience.

what are you planning to bend it with? JD squared? mandrel bender?

make sure you get t-zero aluminium. t-6 wont bend w/o cracking

and if you sand pack you gotta weld the ends

Thule racks are ugly and played out, not to mention they wouldn't look nearly as good as a tube rack on a eur

How can a roof rack be "played out"? Are forks played out too? Is everyone switching to spoons? Cause I really need to know this shit so I can look cool to everyone on a internet forum.



And furthermore, just because you found some picture of an awesome looking car, that happens to have some part on it, transferring that part to your e30 is not going to make it awesome. 99% of the time it's going to do the opposite. That car you pictured could have Rupaul strapped to the god damn trunk and it would still look amazing.
